Okay... well... this background came out a whole lot quicker than I thought it would. xD The result of too much coffee and an intense hyperfocus that lasted until two this morning. x_x Overall, I'm happy with the way it came out. ^^ I'm going to give you all a head's up and admit... I CAN'T for the life of me draw trees, so the fact that it's... um... identifiable and seems to fit the picture is a good thing for me xD The lighting in this was just too much fun to play with.

Also, I know it says that this picture was taken with a panasonic but it was because I didn't have a scanner ;_; I wanted to color it so bad but I had no scanner to scan it with so I took a digital picture of my lineart and only used it as a guide. I'm amazed at how much it changed. The clothing changed a lot O.o and I had to fix some of the proportions. I do realize that her legs are too long (erm, skirt is way too long) but um.. she's got wings... she could be floating? o_o Truth be told, I tried numerous times to fix that but every time I tried my computer couldnt' handle the strain and locked up on me *Damns Vista to hell* so it just got left as it is. May fix it later

Comments are appreciated! A lot! I've come to realize that almost the more time I spend on something the less attention it gets :/ I want to break that trend. I worked hard on this! >.<

I love fantasy so much...these older artworks are new to me. It is really enjoyable exploring your art gallery =) The details with the coloring has a lot of life here =) The main fairy herself fascinates me. I honestly could imagine her being in a game series like Zelda. The outfit is long but it looks really pleasant on her. The wings and hairstyle are a sweet combination. I like that she is not just standing there staring at the viewer. She's looking and interacting with what is near her. I think that is a great detail =)

The flowers themselves are a delight to see =) All around, the background has many large and small details I notice. I like the blades of grass not all having the same length, and the pollen/dust effect you did looks very nice.
